There are tears in my eyes as I write this, and no doubt there will be tears in your eyes reading this. But King Of Kings Henrik Larsson's final game for Celtic will be played tomorrow night, in a friendly against Sevilla.

It's the end of an era for the Swede, who has been arguably Celtic's greatest ever player. Without doubt he is the best foreign import into this country, and has been the most consistent player in the last decade or two.

Larsson has already played his last competitive match at Celtic Park; a 2-1 victory over Dundee United where he bagged the two goals. He also stuck home another brace in his last competitive game for The Bhoys, in the Scottish Cup Final on Saturday.

But tomorrow night will be the realisation that he is going. His final time playing in the Hoops (unless we see a guest appearance at forthcoming friendlies).

The game is a total irrelevance and will be a damp squib if Larsson doesn't score. But I am sure he will. It will be 90 minutes of Henrik Larsson tribute songs.

Many Celtic fans have refused to buy a ticket for the game, claiming they were ripped off by the board. That is fair enough, people can do what they want to. But giving £20 to Henrik for the memories he has given me over the past seven years is the least I can offer. The man deserves every single penny of tomorrow night's money, and I beleive it has been a shrew move by the Celtic board in organising this game.

It will no doubt be a tearful night, but also a night of celebration. In my opinion, the Greatest Celt Ever will be playing his final game for the club, and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Pass the hankies...
