Celtic v Hearts
Bank of Scotland SPL
Saturday 3rd April 2004
Celtic Park, Glasgow
Kick Off 3.00

Oh they'll soon be playing rugby!
Hearts are the next to attempt to spoil the Celtic party for at least a little while, they are the visitors to Parkhead tomorrow.

With the Celtic Park pitch relayed and ready to be Henriked, and coming off of two superb results at the Nou Camp and Ibrox, Celtic should be up for the game. Also, knowing that if we win tomorrow, and Rangers lose the following day at Motherwell, the league is won. Failing that, we will just have to wait until next week to finish the job.

Martin O'Neill has promised to give youth a chance on Saturday, and will include youngsters Aiden McGeady and Kevin McBride in the squad for the game. it's about time players like Petrov, Lennon and Larsson were given rests. A downer about tomorrow's game, though, is the news that John Kennedy will be out of action for a year.

Liam Miller may also find himself in the starting eleven, I just hope some Celtic fans do not shame themselves and boo him. Anyone who boos a player wearing the Hoops is not a supporter. You can say you "payed your money like the rest of you" but to lower yourself to booing a Celtic player is nothing short of disgraceful.

Hearts, as we know, are a very dirty team and will attempt to kick everything in green and white. Many Celtic players will have some issues with certain Hearts players, after Neil Lennon was assaulted four times during our last trip to Tynecastle.

Tynecastle is a ground we will see no more, as from next season, Hearts will play their home games at Murrayfield! And with their own Chairman getting a smack in the mouth from one of their own, it just about sums Hearts fans up.

Celts will be looking to get the league title wrapped-up as soon as possible and I am hoping for a few early goals. We want to be able to rest some players for Europe on Thursday night. We also want all Celtic players to be walking after tomorrow's game. With Hearts around, though, it doesn't look too promising.

Hail Hail!
