Daily Record Boycott

Join the Boycott!

This is a request for all Celtic supporters who read this site to join the Daily Record Boycott. The boycott may be described as some other case of 'Celtic's Paranoia' but in my opinion the newspaper has a policy against Celtic FC. Ask yourself this: As a true supporter of Celtic, would you accept a headline, reading 'Thugs and Thieves'?  The particular headline was published on the front page of the newspaper after Celtic players apparently assaulted a camera man and stole his £10,00 camera.  To my knowledge, the cameras which these guys use are not worth anywhere near that price range, and the cameraman was never recieved hospital treatment.  So who really are the "Thugs and Thieves?"  Has the Record never heard of the phrase 'Innocent, till proven guilty'? Other headlines over the past few years have included the comparing of Fergus McCann to Sadam Hussein, and various other boring and unrealistic stroies linking Celtic players with other clubs.  This newspaper can invent all the headlines they wish but I would implore any readers of this website never to purchase this rag, ever again. The Celtic family have been complaining about this newspaper for many, many years. They obviously don't listen. Therefore, the only way to hurt these people, is in the pocket. For example, if only one Celtic fan ceased to buy the paper, it would cost the Daily Record approximatley £110 per year! Think about it!  Hail Hail!
